Nice until proven Naughty.......

Its been a long while since I created a card.  A friend put me onto Bugaboo Digital stamps, and I love them, they are fun and a little sassy, and completely wonderful to colour.   My colouring sucks a lot, I haven't coloured for years, so I have a lot of work to do to get it up to scratch but I know you won't really care lol.

I did use spellbinders nestabilitites dies in this card.

It was fun, I got to colour, and hopefully I will get to colour again, will be back with another card really soon, as I have another Christmas one to share with you.

Cheers
Melissa.

Christmas Gifts for my class of 2015

At my last card class of the year we all swapped a handmade gift
This year I sourced some super cute Marie Clare mugs, I loved them and into it I put homemade hot chocolate mix, the recipe came from Skinnymixers.  I also made some chocolate spoons to add to it, with a little lindt chocolate ball added in.

All that chocolate goodness wrapped up in one small package.

the gold poinsettia was made with the new Stampin' up! poinsettia punch, I just used gold foil and glued it all together.
Super cute I think.
Hope everyones Christmas preparations are going well, only a few days to go eeek!

The second card is a bendy card

and the third card is simple but i love it. It was inspired from pinterest.

Shaker Shaker Shaker....

Christmas is really creeping up on us, I am super organised this year though, I have some homemade gifts to give this year in addition to bought ones and I have been saving all year to make Christmas a lot easier and Credit Card FREE this year!
The template I used for the savings plan I will pop below this post and the link to the blog on where I found it  :)

For now - onto todays card!
Shaker cards are so much fun wouldn't you agree?

I wanted it to look like baubles.
The stamp sets are in the holiday catalogue from Stampin' Up!
Snow place and Peaceful pines and yay! They both came with a matching set of framelits so no fussy cutting.

The first shaker I used our dazzling diamonds - not a good idea, it does leak as it is such a fine product.
The one below I purchased a bag of fake snow from KMart - It cost me $3 and it was a huge bag, I only used half a teaspoon for the card below.

I used this Christmas savings plan, but I did it in reverse, for me I have more hours from work in our summer, so I started with the big ones in January, by the time I get to December I will be down to just a few dollars and I love that idea.  All presents and food is taken care of.
IF you don't want to use a separate bank account just get one of those money tins that looks like $20 or $50 dollars, they have no way to take money out unless you open with a knife or something lol.

Do not open...

.. til Christmas

This card was another class card for October!

This is a gorgeous stamp set from Stampin' Up! - but its a hostess set only, you can get it but you need to put in a good sized order for it.

I for one did that as I love it lol.

lots of layering going on with this card, but it is a super easy card to make in bulk and I love that idea.

the main image is from the stamp set called Antique Tags #140494 c/m or #139855 w/m

The leaf is from seasonal snapshot stamp set which is a project life stamp set.

Thanks for Stopping By, Have a wonderful day!

Embellished Ornaments

Happy Saturday everyone, I hope your day has gotten off to a wonderful start.

Last night I held my monthly class and together my ladies made this card.
We used the new stamp set and matching framelits called Embellished Ornaments.  This set is from Stampin' Up!
Gold glimmer paper was used for the top layer of the ornament.
The word Merry was from the project life set called seasonal snapshot.
I love all the glimmery goodness of this card, and its not one that takes long to create either, though I did use the new sizzix precision plate to die cut the ornament making it so much simpler.

Have a great day everyone.

Monday - Use it or lose it.....

So I have stamps and things that haven't seen the light of day, never been inked
and more...
I am going to try and bring you a card each Monday using items from my stash that don't ever get used but ones I cannot part with.

They are not limited to a particular company - just images I have seen, loved and purchased.

This stamp is a small set of two from Inkadinkado called Northpole, it also comes with a stamp that says Santa Claus Lane.  It is super cute.
That DSP pad is a new one though, I fell instantly in love with it
Its a 6 x 6 pad and its from a company called Lemoncraft
It is Gorgeous!!!!

Well I hope I have given you a nudge (wink) to go ahead and bring out some of your "stuff" you either have never used or haven't in a very long time.

I for one am so glad this stamp has now been inked up!  Love it.
Have a great day!

I filled the cup with dazzling diamonds glitter, so sparkly.

Snow Way its Christmas already?

Ha ha ha such a cool sentiment isn't it?

Its from the Snow place stamp set from Stampin' Up!

A little bit of masking here to achieve this.

I CASED this card from HERE, its amazing how many talented people are out there and I love to take inspiration from them, even those that aren't Stampin' Up! This card was perfect so all I changed out were the stamps, the sentiment and the colour, oh and added some rhinestones here and there.

Frosty the Snowman...

I just love the new stamp set and matching framelit set "snow place" from Stampin' up!s new holiday catalogue.

I never usually make cards this small but I think I love this size, and I think I have just found the card I will make for my sons class this year, he is in a double class so will be needing a few this year.
I stamped the main image then restamped the image on scrap paper, hand cut it out and layered it on top of the original stamped image.  How cute is that new Christmas ribbon too?

Holly Jolly altered tag

There are so many sets in Stampin' Up!s new holiday catalogue that I just love, this year more so than any other year, and I think that many have matching dies or punches is another little bonus.
This set is one I purchased called Holly jolly Greetings.
It was super hard to photograph this card, I tried everything lol, so I apologise in advance.

Sahara sand cardstock base, with basic black archival ink used for the sentiment and the snowflake, both which is from the stamp set Holly Jolly Greetings.

A close up of the snowflake.  I inked the snowflake up in versamark, added heat n stick powder, heat set it then tipped dazzling diamonds on top, then heat set once again.
An old technique but a fun one.
Was so hard to pick this glitter up in the photograph.

Tags in a box...

This year I am determined to be super organised.
6 Tags done and dusted - woo hoo.
I made a little pocket to store them all in using the new pillowbox die from Stampin' Up!

I just cut the top off once I had the two sides glued together, then decorated to match the tags.

A Little gold foil behind these trees! Peaceful pines stamp set and matching dies were used on these tags.
I have left a little blank space for scrawling the recipients name.
Gorgeous new ribbon too.  The joy disc is a stamp used from the new seasonal snapshot 2015 project life stamp set.

The DSP is new from the holiday catalogue, as are the two dies used for the trees.
Gold foil is so festive.
Check out the dies HERE - its the peaceful pines photopolymer bundle.

Hope you like it. I may enter this into the JUST ADD INK challenge this week,
I used gold foil so that should count I think, It was on the list ha ha ha.
