Christmas Coffee Catch Up.....

Keeping it simple is the key when I haven't stamped awhile.  I dug out this coffee cup stamp
from Stampin' Up!.  I think it is retired though cannot be sure.  I stamped two images and cut out the coffee cup band from the second image.

I ran the coffee cup band through a corrugated embossing folder, then used gathered twigs distress ink, and a water bottle to ink up the raised corrugated lines.
I cut the holly out on the cameo silhouette, highlighted with a white gel pen, added a twine bow and coloured the cup with copic markers.
I used a piece of designer paper from lemoncraft 6 x6 paper pad.

A Christmassy fancy fold....

I love this super cute stamp set - Its a hero arts set and it comes with 3 little elves and a die cut for them, very cute. I also spent some more time colouring with my copics for this card, added some cute little Christmas bells to add some festive detail.

How cute is this sentiment too?  It is a set from recollections.

Cardstock was Stampin' Up! real red, whisper white
Ink: Real Red, memento black, Old olive
Copics: various
Other:  Nuvo Gold, twine, mini bells

Happy 50th...

A friends 50th Birthday was recently so a card was needed, in fact I think I may be doing a lot more of these sorts of cards over the next few years lol.

This card needed a motorcycle, not just any motorcycle - but a Harley!
These bikes are just gorgeous to ride on, I haven't been on one too often but I love it when I have had the opportunity.

Love this glimmery designer papers, its from a DCWV insta stack, they are such cute paper stacks in a variety of colours.

TIP: I used a silver sharpie that you can pick up from an art/craft store, I Used that
to colour in the motorcycle then highlighted the metal with the white signo gel pen.

Stamp:  Motorcycle (retired Stampin' Up!)
Papers: DCWV insta stack
Cardstock: Whisper white and Basic Black (Stampin' Up!)
Ink: Black Stazon
Pen: Silver (sharpie), white gel pen

Christening...

I was asked recently to make a special Christening card for a soon to be Godmother.

Something special, so pink was definitely in order for the little girl being Christened.

and a close up of all the pretty details:

I don't make too many of these cards so was a novelty to create one.
The stamp set is one from Stampin' Up!
The papers, embossing folders and ribbon is also Stampin' Up!
The fancy die cut shapes are nestabilities.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Happy tenth birthday Georgia

Its just a few hours before my niece turns 10, and no card to be seen.  My mojo has taken a long long walk, so I turned to a card I had seen recently from Teneale Williams HERE

Teneales card is amazing, and I started with the intention to CASE it entirely, but went to my cupboard and it was almost bare lol,

No silver glimmer paper, no little floral stamps, BUT I did have the blushing bride glimmer paper untouched as well as the stamp set and butterfly die she had used so I set about recreating it as best I could with what I had lol

and the inside.

So pop on over and visit the ever so talented Teneale, you wont be disappointed in her work she is amazing!

Something Eastery.....

Is Eastery a word? lol, I doubt it.
I had a brief for 8 of these cards, it needed a basket with those 3 words on it - Love, faith and hope
It also had to hold a single gold Haighs chocolate Heart.
So where the gold heart is in the photo is where the lady has to glue her chocolate heart in.
I have used brushed gold cardstock from Stampin' up!

The oval dies make up the basket, the super cool scissors from Stampin Up also make the grass. I love those scissors.
The heart punch is from Stampin' up! also.
I did print the words hope and faith as I do not own dies of those words, but used the banners framelits from SU also to die cut them out.

All products except for the Love die and leaf Die are Stampin' Up!

Happy Easter everyone, and for those that are travelling please travel safely.

A pizza my heart?

My tastes in stamps is definitely changing ha ha ha, I found this super cute lawn fawn set called a pizza my heart and just had to have it, the cause was helped along by the fact that it also had a coordinating die set.

The sentiment was heat embossed in black, I really wanted it to pop!

I really need some grey copics, on my next shopping list, I only own 2.

How cute is that pizza cutter?

Stamps: A Pizza my heart (Lawn Fawn), Timeless Textures (SU)

I'm Baaacckkk......

Happy 2016 peeps, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!  Mine was lovely and quiet for a change!  Well School went back yesterday, we are half way through our summer, its been quite warm/hot here in Adelaide, but I am really enjoying that, except for today where its rained and even flooded in some parts of our state :(  making it quite muggy (blerk)!

Anyway I thought I would share a new card with you tonight.  Valentines is just around the corner - yep Already! Wherever did January go.

I have some exciting new products I have bought over the summer on this card, the list of them used will be below pictures.  I did head on over to Mojo Monday for a sketch image, after all it has been months since I stamped and I really needed a starting point ha ha ha.

Items Used:
Stamp Set: Timeless Textures (SU)
Ink: Smoky Slate (SU)
DSP: Neutral Collection (Avery Elle)

Hip Hip Hooray

First card of the year and its a .....
Birthday Card

So the balloons are a new punch coming up in SU new catalogue, and the DSP is from a new stack which is possibly the second best stack of paper I have ever owned, second only to the newsprint.  I am not usually a fan of Stampin' up!s designer papers, but this paper stack is totally awesome, when it comes out you are going to want to own it (and I don't even HAVE to say that - I truly think its fantastic).  But the cutest thing I love about this card is this super cute little critter from lawn fawn.  He comes with coordinating dies, full of little hats, gifts etc perfect for all year round.

If you are looking for a SU demo in Adelaide, let me know and I will put you in touch with a lovely demo :)

Hallow Eve

Evening everyone.
I thought I would pop in with a couple of ideas for halloween tomorrow night. While I know its not very big here in Australia, some still celebrate it.
I am not one for trick or treating, I just don't like my son door knocking for sweets.
However we are heading to a halloween party tomorrow night with a bunch of kids all in one place where they can dress up, eat sweets and be safe!

I thought I would share a couple of treat bag ideas for the event.

These little bags I bought from Kmart - I got 20 for $3.50 and they came in kraft like below or white.
Perfect for a quick and easy treat bag.  The stamps, framelits, designer paper and black glimmer paper are all from the new holiday catalogue from Stampin' Up!

Little cello bags with the die cut warlocks hat, and a diecut BOO cut from black glimmer paper.
How cool are those eyeball, skeleton and brains chocolates?

For those who choose to celebrate Halloween have an awesome day/evening filled with a lot of fun
Nothing brings me more joy then to see my son having fun!

Happy Halloween everyone!

World globe

Happy Monday everyone, heres hoping its going to be a great week!

I have a quick and simple card for you today

The card base is Crumb cake, with layers of whisper white, another crumb cake panel, and some neutrals DSP from the stack.
I added some white satin ribbon with a bow and a whisper white banner.

The only thing not Stampin' up! is the stamped diecut.  I had that leftover from a previous card I was making so put it to good use.
I love the simplicity.

Have a great day and rest of your week!

Do not open...

.. til Christmas

This card was another class card for October!

This is a gorgeous stamp set from Stampin' Up! - but its a hostess set only, you can get it but you need to put in a good sized order for it.

I for one did that as I love it lol.

lots of layering going on with this card, but it is a super easy card to make in bulk and I love that idea.

the main image is from the stamp set called Antique Tags #140494 c/m or #139855 w/m

The leaf is from seasonal snapshot stamp set which is a project life stamp set.

Thanks for Stopping By, Have a wonderful day!

Embellished Ornaments

Happy Saturday everyone, I hope your day has gotten off to a wonderful start.

Last night I held my monthly class and together my ladies made this card.
We used the new stamp set and matching framelits called Embellished Ornaments.  This set is from Stampin' Up!
Gold glimmer paper was used for the top layer of the ornament.
The word Merry was from the project life set called seasonal snapshot.
I love all the glimmery goodness of this card, and its not one that takes long to create either, though I did use the new sizzix precision plate to die cut the ornament making it so much simpler.

Have a great day everyone.

Cup of cheer

When I saw this stamp set in the new holiday catalogue, I just loved it, from that cute cup to the santas on his way sentiment (that I can use for elf on the shelf this year too he he he)
I filled the cup with dazzling diamonds glitter, so sparkly.
Thanks For stopping by...

Happy Birthday with Ice cream

Happy Sunday everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend (if you are in OZ)
I am happy to spend the next two days with my little family, am looking forward to it with no commitments.  Its a rarity around here!

So madly trying to use some of Stampin' Up!s retired product, well the ribbon and twine anyway :)

I still love that sprinkles of life set for the Ronald McDonald charity with Stampin' up!
If you don't own it go on over and check it out, such a perfect stamp set.

I used the inspiration fro a photo over at Just Add Ink this week, I really liked the stripes in their picture but didn't have any grey so used the stripes from the DSP stack called go wild.

Happy is from the stamp set celebrate today also Stampin' Up!

Birthday is a die cut from the die I think I got it from Technique Tuesday, but its the most perfect size.

Happy World Cardmaking day!

Happy Cardmaking day to everyone the world over.

Wow, did everyone find time today to get at least one card in?

I managed a super quick one tonight and I mean super quick.

This one was made with my wonderful husband in mind, I like to send them to his workplace now and again :)

Edges of the white embossed layer, the circle diecut and the striped acorn have been sponged with  tip top taupe.

It may be hard to see, but I used circle framelits for the the circle cut out, once the larger size was cut out, I got the next sized circle down and laid it on top of the circle cutting side of framelit up (away from cardstock)  then ran it through big shot to give it an embossed inner circle image.

I used the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Acorny thank you.
It also has a coordinating punch which really makes this set super awesome as there is no fussy cutting, perfect for a quickie card.
