A little distress.. in a good way

I love my courier driver, who seems to be working on Saturdays at the moment, today she made me really happy by delivering a couple of items that I got from Simon Says Stamp!  I have been salivating over some of the new to me colours from Tim Holtz, so got them in today along with a couple of tins to hold them in

That Pistachio colour is just superb!

Birthday Card

So the balloons are a new punch coming up in SU new catalogue, and the DSP is from a new stack which is possibly the second best stack of paper I have ever owned, second only to the newsprint.  I am not usually a fan of Stampin' up!s designer papers, but this paper stack is totally awesome, when it comes out you are going to want to own it (and I don't even HAVE to say that - I truly think its fantastic).  But the cutest thing I love about this card is this super cute little critter from lawn fawn.  He comes with coordinating dies, full of little hats, gifts etc perfect for all year round.

Christmas Gifts for my class of 2015

At my last card class of the year we all swapped a handmade gift

This year I sourced some super cute Marie Clare mugs, I loved them and into it I put homemade hot chocolate mix, the recipe came from Skinnymixers.  I also made some chocolate spoons to add to it, with a little lindt chocolate ball added in. 

All that chocolate goodness wrapped up in one small package.

 the gold poinsettia was made with the new Stampin' up! poinsettia punch, I just used gold foil and glued it all together.

Super cute I think.
Hope everyones Christmas preparations are going well, only a few days to go eeek!

A change is good - Right???

Sometime in August my 6th anniversary as a Stampin' up! demonstrator happened.  Today I am no longer a demonstrator for Stampin' up!.

It has been a wonderful 6 years but its time for me to move on and try other things.  I love to be creative, I love getting inky!

While I still love Stampin' Up! products and will continue to use them most especially their fantastic cardstock and adhesives, I will also be using a lot of other products from other companies that I enjoy.

So stay tuned for 2016.

Hopefully I can still offer you all something to inspire you
